Payouts and settlements
See what Surfboard has paid out to your bank account, which fees and deductions were made, and how the payouts are booked in your accounts.

When customers pay by card or Vipps through Surfboard, Surfboard collects the money and pays it out to your bank account, minus fees. Cmerce fetches the settlement reports from Surfboard every day, shows them in an overview, and sends the fees and payouts to your accounts if you have connected an accounting system.
Before you start
- Surfboard must be connected and active. See Surfboard – application and activation.
- You need the «Integrasjoner (regnskap m.m.)» (Integrations) permission.
- For payouts to be booked automatically, your accounting system must be connected. See Connecting Fiken.
How to do it
- Go to «Integrasjoner» (Integrations) → «Surfboard».
- Under «Utbetalinger» (Payouts) you see one row per settlement, with these columns:

- Click the status in «Regnskap» to see exactly what was booked for the payout. «Vis kontodetaljer» (Show account details) also shows the account numbers.
- To fetch new settlements straight away, click «Hent nå» (Fetch now). Otherwise they are fetched automatically every day at 17:30.
Status in the accounting column

Good to know
- A negative amount means money out. On a day with more refunds and fees than sales, the settlement can be negative.
- Rows marked with * have a different payout amount than Surfboard's sales figures suggest. This happens when Surfboard has charged a fee but holds it back from a later payout. The amount in the table is what actually reached your bank account. Hover over the amount to see the explanation.
- «Må kontrolleres» (Needs checking) appears when the amounts from Surfboard look wrong. Such rows are never booked automatically. Contact support.
- «Endret etter bokføring» (Changed after booking) appears when Surfboard has changed the fee after the settlement was booked. Your accounts then hold the old amount, and your accountant needs to post a correcting voucher.
- If «Justeringer» shows «—», Surfboard's report has not been read yet. Click «Les rapporter på nytt» (Read reports again).
- Chart of accounts: Fees are booked as «Gebyr kortinnløsning» (Card acquiring fees), other deductions as «Andre trekk fra innløser» (Other acquirer deductions), and the payout as a transfer to «Bankkonto (drift)» (Operating bank account). Check these are set up under «Integrasjoner» → «Kontoplan» (Chart of accounts). Talk to your accountant if you are unsure which accounts to use.
- Stripe and Vipps (direct agreement): Cmerce does not fetch payout reports from these. You find them in the Stripe dashboard and at portal.vippsmobilepay.com.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't «Netto utbetalt» equal gross sales minus fees?
Because adjustments and withheld fees also affect the payout. Open the report (PDF) or expand the row to see every item.
There have been sales, but the list is empty.
Surfboard only creates a report once a settlement has been made. Click «Hent nå». If it still says «Ingen utbetalinger er hentet ennå» (No payouts fetched yet), Surfboard has not settled yet.
