Reports – overview
Under «Rapporter» you will find around forty reports on sales, the till, the webshop, customers, subscriptions, bookings, stock, payments, gift cards, invoices and prices. How to find your way, choose a period and use the filters.
The reports give you an overview of how the business is doing – at the till, in the webshop and across both. All reports are informational reports (informasjonsrapporter): they are made for keeping track and making decisions, not for accounting or audit. The authoritative end-of-day record for the till is always the Z-report. See Sales reports and the Z-report – the difference.
Before you start
You need the permission «Se rapporter og analyser» (View reports and analytics). The Eier (Owner), Administrator, Butikkansvarlig (Store manager) and Regnskapsfører (Accountant) roles have it by default. Some report areas need additional permissions – for example, the till reports need access to POS reports, and the customer reports need access to customers. You only see the areas you have access to.
The overview page
Go to «Rapporter» (Reports) → «Oversikt» (Overview). The page is called «Rapporter og innsikt» (Reports and insights) and shows:
- Period and comparison at the top. Choose «Periode» (Period) – for example «I dag» (Today), «Denne måneden» (This month), «Siste 30 dager» (Last 30 days) or «Egendefinert» (Custom) – and «Sammenlign med» (Compare with): «Forrige periode» (Previous period) or «Samme periode i fjor» (Same period last year).
- Key figures in small tiles, with the change against the comparison period.
- KI-innsikt (AI insights), if it is switched on. See AI insights.
- One card per report area listing the reports it contains. Click the card to open the area.

Using a report
- Open a report area, for example «Rapporter» → «Salg».
- Choose a report from the tabs at the top.
- Choose «Periode» and optionally «Sammenlign med».
- Choose «Oppløsning» (Granularity) – «Dag» (Day), «Uke» (Week), «Måned» (Month) or «Per rad» (Per row) – where the report offers more than one.
- Use the filters the report offers, for example «Kanal» (Channel), «Kasse» (Register), «Lokasjon» (Location), «Kategori» (Category), «Produkt» (Product) or «Kundegruppe» (Customer group).
The address in your browser keeps your choices. If you bookmark the page, the report opens with the same choices next time.
Good to know
- The banner above each report shows the period, granularity, filters, «Informasjonsrapport» and when the figures were last updated. It also says where the figures come from: «Hentet fra Z-rapport» (Taken from the Z-report) or «Beregnet fra salgsdata» (Calculated from sales data).
- Filtered figures are always shown with the total. When you filter, you also see «Alle (samme periode)» (All – same period), so a subset can never be mistaken for the whole.
- Top lists end with «Øvrige» (Others), so the rows always add up to the total.
- Nothing can be hidden. Filters only select a slice, such as a channel or a category. You cannot remove individual transactions or change figures.
- «Beregning» (Calculation): «Betalt» (Paid) or «Bestilt» (Ordered). Some sales reports let you choose between paid sales and placed orders.
- Credit sales are always shown separately, as «Kredittsalg (ikke kontantsalg)» (Credit sales – not cash sales), and are never included in the cash-sale figures.
- Updates. Figures are refreshed regularly through the day. Days that do not yet have a Z-report are marked as provisional.
- Reports change nothing. No report can create, change or delete a sale, an order or a Z-report.
